The nose is fresh, fruity and offers elegance. It reveals notes of fresh boysenberry, fresh wild strawberry and small notes of fresh berries associated with small hints of flowers as well as discreet toasted / caramelized hints, almond and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight suavity, a slight straightness, a slight fat, a small acid frame (in the background), a small racy minerality as well as a very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crunchy raspberry and small notes of small berries, fleshy cassis associated with fine touches of flowers, licorice, spices as well as a very discreet / imperceptible toasted hint (in the background) and nutmeg. Tannins are well-built and slightly mellow. There is an imperceptible hint of hazelnut on the persistence / aftertaste.
