The nose is racy, well-rounded and offers a pulpy finish. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, violet and more slightly crushed berry fruit associated with touches of small wild red fruits, black olive, sage as well as fine hints of gray pepper and local grove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, discreetly tight and offers richness, gourmandize, suavity, freshness, fat, a certain unctuosity as well as controlled richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / creamy strawberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of chocolate, blueberry, small creamy red currants, cardamom, almond as well as hints of cinnamon, chocolate and olive leaf. Tannins are structuring and well done. Good length.
