Château La Rousselle 2019 – Fronsac

On the nose it is fruity, elegant and offers a very nice finesse of the texture, subtlety as well as a juicy fruit. It reveals notes of fresh raspberry, juicy / crunchy red berries and more slightly fresh flowers (violet, jasmine) associated with a touch of crunchy blackberry as well as discreet varietal hints. On the palate is fruity, juicy and offers a nice tangy / juicy fruit, flair, a little crunch, a little flowery side, energy as well as a nice guideline in finesse. The wine expresses notes of crunchy / juicy blackberry, raspberry, cornflower associated with a touch of lilac, juicy berries as well as discreet hints of licorice stick, a subtle hint of cardamom and with a very discreet hint of chocolate / toasted oak in the background.
