Château La Rousselle 2017 – Fronsac

The nose is aromatic, spicy, slightly tight and offers a small power. It reveals notes of raspberry, cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of violet, gray pepper as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a mineral frame, tension as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of crunch/juicy small red berries associated with fine touches of fresh flowers and subtle hint of spices (in the background). Tannins are structuring. Good length.
