The nose is beautifully aromatic, floral and offers fine intensity and a ample, discreetly tight grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and lily, associated with touches of small ripe wild red berries, a hint of juniper berries, as well as a hint of red pepper. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, it offers a certain pulpy side, even flattering, roundness, while retaining a lovely juiciness and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of fresh/juicy raspberry, hints of star anise, nutmeg, as well as a hint of small bright fruits and a subtle hint of rose and varietal in the background/on the finish.
