Château La Roque de By 2022 – Médoc

The nose is nicely mineral, finely tight, tense and offers a certain intensity. It expresses notes of fresh blackberry, graphite and more slightly fresh blue plum associated with touches of fresh pepper as well as fine hints of racy minerality and fresh red fruits. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, tension, precision and a mineral framework. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and more slightly – bright/pulpy raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, camphor, toasted, nutmeg as well as a fine hint of sweet blond tobacco and sweet spices. A fine saline and sappy hint in the background.
