The nose is fine and offers a power. It reveals slight notes of undergrowth, cassis, blackberry and wild strawberry associated with hints of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, fat, a beautiful minerality, a slight freshness, a slight unctuosity as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy raspberry and slight notes of blackberry associated with a hint of cassis, black cherry, licorice and toasted oak. Tannins are well-built. There is a slight power on the finish and a slight hints of chocolate on the persistence/aftertaste.
