The nose is fruity, elegant, slightly tight and offers concentration as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, cassis and small notes of small wild fruits associated with discreet hints of cornflowers, fresh lily and nutmeg/spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a mineral frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/fleshy raspberry and juicy/fleshy small red berries associated with a touch of fresh blueberry, fresh flowers as well as discreet hints of liquorice stick, spice and a subtle hint of vanilla. A fine saline hint and caramelization on the persistence. Good length. A very fine chew on the finish.
