Château la Ribaud 2023 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is juicy, a bit fermented and fruity (fresh and compote red cherry, morello cherry, crushed blueberry, raspberry, strawberry). It also expresses notes of wild rose, pine needles, liquorice and white pepper. The palate is fluid, juicy and light. We find notes of red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, cranberries in the background, as well as a slight woody hint (fresh and toasted hazelnut), a touch of liquorice, fresh mint in the background and peony. The palate is fresh, juicy, a little tight, but airy. It expresses the flavors of blackcurrant, wild cherry, morello cherry, cranberries, liquorice and fresh mint. The tannins are a little dry, with a good bitterness. An airy and light wine.
