Château La Renaissance 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is aromatic and offers a certain small power as well as a powerful and racy grain. There are notes of blackcurrant, violet and small notes of camphor associated with a touch of infusion, concentrated wild black berries as well as a discreet hint of cornflower and star anise. The fruity palate offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, tension, accuracy, supple, suave, a certain delicacy. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of fleshy/tart redcurrants, associated with touches of tangy raspberry, cornflower, star anise, cardamom, spices, tobacco and a smoky hint. Good length. Juiciness and freshness, suppleness, fatness and a coating touch. A tobacco and toasted hint in the background/finish of the mouth.
