On the nose, aromatic and offers nice power (in finesse), nice ripe/generous fruit, precision, deliciousness and richness (in finesse). It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild raspberry and more lightly wild black berry combined with hints of pulpy berry, cuben pepper, zan, ripe black currant as well as fine hints of tobacco, nutmeg and a very discreet waft of toasted hazelnut (in the background). On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, smoothness, finesse as well as a nice juicy/pulpy/generous fruit, gourmandize, airiness (in the balance), tension, richness and some density. The wine expresses notes of fleshy/chunky raspberry, fleshy/chunky black currant and more lightly blue berry with a touch of acidic red berry, lily, tonka bean, cardamom, a subtle hint of vanilla, sweet spice and an imperceptible touch of tea/black olive. Good length. The tannins are mellow.
