The nose is aromatic and offers a fine tension as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of very ripe blackberry, very ripe cassis and small notes of small blue fruits, cloves, tobacco associated with a discreet hint of nutmeg and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, crushed blackberry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with fine touches of small fleshy blue fruits, cornflower as well as fine hints of toasted and chocolate. Good length. A very discreet hint of cocoa powder on the finish/persistence.
