The nose is aromatic and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of saline minerality, blackberry, fresh cherry and slight notes of black fruit combined with a hint of strawberry and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively fleshy and offers a fine freshness, a fine acidity and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes boysenberry, cassis, fleshy cherry and touches of cassis bud associated with fine hints of toasted oak. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a slight bitterness on the finish.
