The nose is beautifully carried out, deep, with concentration and a beautiful expression of clays. It reveals notes of boysenberry, Sichuan pepper and slight notes of infusion associated with touches of concentrated small black fruits as well as a fine hint of blond tobacco, a sappy note and a hint of concentrated bigarreau cherry. The palate is beautifully built, fresh, supple, well-balanced and precise. It offers notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, pulpy / fresh cassis and small notes of bright small red fruits associated with touches of blue plum as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco and a subtle toasted/chocolatey note. Tannins are mellow, finely sappy and tasty. The wine offers a beautiful freshness and a nice minerality. Beautiful work on the bitterness in the background.
