The nose is fruity with fine power, vibrancy and flesh. There are notes of fleshy strawberry, pulpy blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, violet, combined with hints of crushed strawberry and fine hints of fresh/sparkling berries, graphite, tonka bean and spice. The palate is fruity and shows juiciness, acidity, fine creaminess, acidity, tension and racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy redcurrant, strawberry and more slightly juicy/fresh blackcurrant combined with hints of violet as well as fine points of fresh/pulpy plum, racy minerality and a subtle hint of sweet spice.
