The nose is fine, fresh, gourmand and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of crushed/ripe cassis and hints of strawberry associated with a discreet hint of licorice, toasted, a hint of fresh/ripe raspberry as well as a very discreet hint of sweet spices and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a good frame, a nice tension, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful purity of the fruit as well as a nice freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of fresh/ripe small red berries as well as hints of toasted oak and a hint of dark chocolate on the persistence. Good length and beautiful gourmand/suave persistence.
