The nose is fruity, fine, relatively elegant and a bit gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry jam, blueberry and a hint of cassis associated with fine touches of Zan as well as a hint of violet candy and a fine toasted touch. The palate is racy, gourmand, beautifully fruity and offers minerality, freshness, tension and precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, plum and black cherry jam associated with slight notes of licorice, a discreet touch of red fruit (in the background) as well as a discreet hint of violet, coffee and small notes of chocolate on the finish. Good length and persistence.
