The nose benefits from decanting. It reveals notes of violet, rose and more discreetly, small wild berries, violet, as well as hints of almond and a subtle hint of clove. The palate is fruity, with juiciness, suavity, freshness and a certain minerality. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of bright redcurrant, associated with touches of varietal, sappy, rose and a fine hint of spice. Good length. Tannins are sappy and racy.
