Château La Patache 2023 – Pomerol

Nice nose, precise, frank, racy and which offers a good definition, depth, a certain concentration as well as a peppery side. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, bright cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of pulpy/juicy small fruits as well as fine hints of fresh sweet spices and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is nicely juicy, pulpy, bright, vibrant as well as nicely defined. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/brilliant plum, bright raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with touches of cornflower, violet, infusion, hints of graphite as well as fine hints of toasted and nutmeg. Nice mineral hint and a very discreet almost sappy hint in the background. The tannins are chalky. Presence of a subtle hint of torrefaction.
