The nose is fruity, discreetly tight and offers concentration as well as power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, crushed Boysen berry and small notes of wild small blue fruits associated with fine touches of mentholed liquorice, chocolate as well as discreet hints of vanilla and cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral (racy minerality), well-balanced and offers a good definition, a goos structure, a mineral frame, a beautiful silky material as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy Boysen berry, fleshy/juicy blue fruits and small notes of juicy wild raspberry associated with small touches of cornflower as well as fine hints of tonka bean, black tea, cardamom (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of vanilla pod (in the background). Good length and good persistence (in fine hints of dark chocolate).
