Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2024 – Pessac-Léognan, Cru Classé

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2024 – Pessac-Léognan, Cru Classé

Lovely, fresh, elegant, airy nose and which offers a graphite and stretched side, as well as a fine, frank, finely sappy grain. Nicely integrated. There are notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of small wild red berries, associated with fine hints of creamy strawberry, discreet hints of smoke, tobacco, as well as a fine hint of maceron, roasted hazelnut and vanilla. The palate is well-built, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, suppleness, juiciness, a certain melodiousness, a taut grain, energy and an airy side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh wild cassis, small fresh/tangy black berries and crunchy cherry, combined with touches of racy minerality, fine hints of lily, smoke, graphene, iodine and bitter almond (in the background). The tannins are precise, frank and racy. Discreetly powdery persistence. Beautiful freshness and definition. Excellent energy and controlled acidity.
