The nose is elegant and offers a fleshy finish, a certain power of the grain as well as a certain richness of the fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy apple, fleshy peach and slight notes of crunchy/fresh Williams pear associated with small touches of white flowers, delicate hints of fresh grapefruit as well as a very discreet enveloping expression of the wood. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fresh/tangy frame, a nice definition, tension, finesse, a certain lightness in its fatness and in its relative richness. All in mastery and accuracy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy peach, pulpy/bright white berries and slight notes of quenette associated with touches of lemon, white flowers as well as discreet hints almost grapefruit and fresh kumquat. A subtle hint of ripe almond in the background. Nice persistence.
