The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration, a finely tight grain, a lot of nobility as well as a nice rich touch, silky and delicate at the same time. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, crushed raspberry and slight notes of creamy blue berries associated with delicate floral touches, fine hints of star anise, as well as a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla, pepper of Madagascar and has a saline character. The palate is elegant, mineral (nice minerality!) and offers great juiciness, freshness, nice definition, tension, sapidity, an airy character in its richness, a nice stretched/straight character (but elegant and delicate) as well as a nice sapidity. There is a pretty nobility in this wine. Lots of precision and finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, creamy blue berries and slight notes of raspberry/cherry associated with touches of cornflower, lily as well as a subtle hint of fresh nutmeg and sweet spices. Some creaminess in the aftertaste. Very nice acidity!
