The palate is fruity, gourmande, elegant, fat, straight, well-balanced and offers tension as well as a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with touches of cassis jam, black cherry, a hint of red fruits as well as touches of toasted oak, a hint of caramel and a discreet touch of liquorice / chocolate. Tannins are fine, elegant, racy and straight. Good length and persistence.
