The nose is fruity and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, small berries, redcurrant and hints of blackberry associated with slight notes of spice, discreet notes of flowers as well as a hint of oak and smoke (in the background). The palate is fruity, quite elegant, well-balanced, relatively fleshy and offers fat as well as a silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of black cherry associated with touches of wild strawberry, minerality as well as a hint of caramelization, violets and a discreet hint of mocha. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length.
