The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a fine juiciness, a good definition, suavity, tension, straightness, precision, minerality, finesse, a small fat, a beautiful finesse of the grain, harmony as well as a small smoothness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis and more slightly wild strawberry, wild raspberry associated with fine touches of blackberry, small berries, spices, zan as well as subtle touches of toasted, very discreet touches of flowers (in the background), tonka bean (in the background) and a very discreet hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are fine, supple and elegant. Good persistence. The finish and the persistence are slightly tight.
