Château La Haye 2022 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is elegant and aromatic, with a certain complexity that benefits from decanting. It reveals notes of violet, red berry small notes of pulpy cherry, associated with touches of smoke, cranberry, and discreet hints of graphene and fresh spices. A subtle hint of infusion in the background. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, mineral and balanced, with a tangy frame, minerality, precision and a lovely grain. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet small notes of cranberry, associated with touches of crushed redcurrants, fresh cinnamon, as well as fine hints of mocha, toast and chocolate. Tannins are elegant and gourmand. A discreet hint of cinnamon also on the nose. Good persistence.
