Château La Haye 2020 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Bourgeois

On the nose, minerality, a little restraint and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of raspberry, violet and touches of fresh blackberry associated with fine hints of fresh berries, star anise, fresh tobacco and a discreet touch of vanilla. On the palate, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, some tension, minerality, fatness and a fine side of restraint. The wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, strawberry and touches of pulpy berries associated with hints of caramelization, blond tobacco, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of toastiness and a discreet touch of tobacco (in the background). Good length. A little firmness in the tannins.
