The nose is finely tight and offers a small concentration. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of cassis, crunchy blackberry, small notes of iris associated with touches of crushed red berries as well as a hint of griotte cherry, liquorice, a very discreet hint of spices and a subtle hint of cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy/fleshy cassis, small notes of small crushed red berries associated with touches of iris, fresh violet as well as fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg, toasted and very fine hints of sweet spices. A subtle varietal hint on the finish (very finely tight). Tannins are very discreetly marked.
