The nose is fruity, fresh, precise, with tension. It expresses notes of violet, blackberry, fresh red berries, crushed strawberry, violet as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, star anise, iris in the background and fresh pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, a mineral frame, tension, a graphite side, accuracy, elegance, aromas of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cherry and more lightly – pulpy/bright blackcurrant associated with touches of graphite, nutmeg and toasted almond. The tannins are soft and gourmand. Good length, a nice little softness and nice chew on the finish/persistence.
