Château La Gurgue 2022 – Margaux

The nose is elegant, precise, deep and offers a fine density, elegant darkness and a spicy side. We find notes of blackberry, green pepper and more lightly nutmeg associated with touches of small fruits, tobacco as well as a hint of almost mandarin leaf. The palate is fruity and offres an accuracy, suppleness, gourmandise as well as a juiciness side, brilliant and an accuracy of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, brilliant cherry and more lightly, cranberry, associated with fine, almost star anise-like hints as well as a hint of mandarin and minerality. Tannins are elegant, supple and racy.
