The nose offers a slight concentration and a slight minerality. It reveals notes of cassis, wild raspberry and wild red berries combined with hints of spices and a subtle / discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, juiciness, a slight acid frame as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and ripe / crushed redcurrant combined with hints of cherry / strawberry, subtle hints of toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco, cassis bud and a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). Good length.
