A lovely mellow nose, precise, elegant, airy in its material/richness, with a graphite side. It expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, violet and more slightly bright red berries associated with touches of cornflower, fine hints of crushed berries, as well as a hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy frame, a lovely creaminess in accuracy with an airy character, lovely chalky grain on the palate. It expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, pulpy/bright blackcurrant and more slightly – cornflower, associated with touches of fleshy/creamy blue berries, as well as fine hints of juicy raspberry, star anise, toast, dark chocolate and a hint of toasted/grilled almond. A lovely volume and definition, all in delicacy. The tannins are soft, savory and tasty, with a lovely gourmet persistence with a subtle hint of good cocoa bitterness.
