Lovely aromatic, gourmand nose which offers a certain richness and precision as well as a fine floral side. It reveals notes of small creamy red berries, bright blackcurrant and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small wild blue fruits, a hint of gray pepper as well as fine hints of spices and a subtle hint almost laurel berries (in the background). The palate is fresh, balanced and offers minerality, a juicy/racy frame, minerality, delicacy, tension, a nice little fattness (in elegance), finesse as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of crushed purple plum associated with touches of cornflower, bright raspberry as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted notes and a discreet hint of saffron (in the background). The tannins are supple and creamy. Good length. Nice gourmandise and palatability on the finish/persistence.
