On the nose it is elegant, nicely defined, precise, aromatic and offers depth, subtlety and finesse/excellence in its depth. It reveals the notes of bright cassis, fleshy plum and more slightly fleshy strawberry associated with touches of ripe blueberry, cornflower, lily, gray pepper as well as hints of fresh hazelnut, toast, spices and a discreet hint of toasted almond. On the mouth it is fruity, offering juiciness, minerality, freshness (fresh frame), a nice definition, precision, gourmandize, a certain tension, a nice richness (all in excellence), subtlety, harmony (in a noblest sense) and minerality. The wine express notes of fleshy blackberry, bright cassis and more slightly fleshy blueberry associated with touches of fleshy/juicy cherry, cornflower, violet, hints of camphor, dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, fine hints of nutmeg, sweet blond tobacco as well as a discreet touch of vanilla and pepper. The tannins are precise, elegant, soft and nicely defined. Presence of fine hint of dark chocolate on the palate.
