The nose is fruity, gourmand, generous, elegant and offers beautiful purity of the fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry and blueberry combined with a hint of violet, chocolate and a discreet touch of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmand and offers freshness, finesse, a certain racy minerality as well as a nice silky matter and a small creaminess. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and blueberry jelly associated with a hint of strawberry, grape as well as small notes of chocolate, licorice, toasted oak and very fine touch of caramel. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence. The finish is relatively suave.
