The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a beautiful finesse, power, delicacy, a slight complexity as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of cassis, violet and blackberry combined with touches of crushed strawberry, liquorice as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, racy and offers a beautiful juiciness, a slight suavity, a mineral frame, a beautiful grain, a small roundness, precision, gourmandise as well as a slight concentration and a good maturity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis and juicy blackberry associated with small notes of crunchy red berries, crunchy blueberry, violet as well as very discreet hints of plum, wood, toasted, nutmeg, tonka bean and a touch of Cuben pepper (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and a bit firm. There are an imperceptible hint of hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of fresh almond on the persistence.
