Château La Grande Clotte 2019 – Lussac-Saint-Emilion

The nose is fresh and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a fine concentration as well as a fine power and an aromatic purity. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant as well as a hint of juicy/pulpy violet plum, violet/lily and fine hints of liquorice stick. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fne acidulous frame, juiciness, precision as well as gourmandize, roundness, purity of the fruit and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry, small notes of violet plum associated with touches of violet, crushed cherry as well as hints of caramelization, toasted, liquorice as well as subtle hints of vanilla. Tannins are precise and offer a fine straightness.
