Château La Garricq 2022 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is dense and offers a certain concentration, matter, a fine richness, gourmandize as well as a fine airy creaminess. There are notes of boysenberry, quite ripe small red fruits and small notes of infusion associated with touches of tobacco, strawberry as well as a hint of cornflower, nutmeg and hints of salty gravels. The palate is nicely built, supple, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fresh frame, suppleness, a good definition, a fine salinity (in the background) as well as accuracy. In mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy and pulpy cassis, bright raspberry, and small touches of crushed red fruits. There are also notes of crushed blue plum and salinity. Tannins are mellow, sapid and gourmand. Freshness and juiciness. An almost aromatic herbs side in the background. Good length.
