The nose is fruity and offers a certain richness and power of the fruit. It expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, concentrated strawberry and, more lightly, quite ripe red fruits associated with touches of bright plum as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted almond, a discreet hint of pepper and a hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a tangy structure, tension, a pretty powdery grain, gourmandise. The wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, small black fruits and more slightly – roasted cherry associated with touches of toasted, zan, small ripe fruits, as well as hints of racy minerality and hints of toasted and dark chocolate.
