The nose is aromatic, full and powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, truffle and undergrowth associated with small touches of strawberry. The palate is fruity, relatively gourmande, well-balanced, racy and offers crunchy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and fine touches of cassis jam associated with notes of mocha, a hint of oak, roasting, a slight hint of cassis bud as well as fine touches of liquorice and tobacco. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length.
