The nose is aromatic and offers a small freshness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and violet associated with small touches of fresh red fruit, Cuben pepper as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly red fruits (crushed strawberry and crushed raspberry) associated with touches of toasted oak, caramelization and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of toasted bread on the aftertaste. Good length.
