The nose is nicely structured, all in subtlety and offers a certain depth (finesse), nice fruit, complexity as well as a multi-layered touch. It reveals notes of luscious Boysenberry, luscious wild strawberry and more slightly small crushed black fruits associated with touches of cornflower, zan, small wild fruits/ small ripe currants, with a subtle hint of graphite, limestone, chocolate, with fine hints of cinnamon, toasted as well as an imperceptible hint of saffron (floral) and vanilla. The palate is fruity, all in balance and offers gourmandize, a very nice pulpy / bright / tangy fruit, roundness, elegance, power, a certain straightforwardness as well as a certain richness in mastery. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / tangy raspberry, tangy / fresh strawberry and more slightly juicy / pulpy blackberry associated with touches of lily, cornflower, tangy plum as well as hints of chocolate, toasted almond, cinnamon and a discreet hint of caramelization on the finish / persistence. A fine chew on the finish / persistence. A wine that is currently slightly restrained (2026+).
