The nose offers accuracy and straightness. It expresses notes of fresh and tangy fruits (blackcurrant, morello cherry, black plum, crushed blueberry, a hint of raspberry), delicate woody and spicy touches (liquorice, toasted hazelnut, a hint of cocoa and coffee), a hint of violet and dried mint. The palate is chiseled, juicy and fruity. We find notes of red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, black plum and red plum, associated with a hint of mint, liquorice, fresh hazelnut, fresh oak in the background and violet. The acidity is lively and salivating. The tannins are fine, perceptible, a bit dry, but not astringent. A straight and chiselled wine.
