Château la Fortune 2022 – Margaux

The nose is aromatic, delicate and offers depth as well as a certain airy power. We find notes of concentrated blackberry, roasted-elegant strawberry and more lightly, small brilliant red fruits, associated with fine touches of nutmeg and a hint of almost balsamic. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, elegant and nicely gourmand with a lovely texture, mellowness as well as an airy side in its power and richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, brilliant raspberry and more lightly crushed cassis, associated with touches of crushed strawberry, a hint of small roasted-elegant fruits, fine hints of chocolate, balsamic as well as a hint of infusion and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are mellow and precise. Lovely chewiness and gourmandise.
