On the nose, fruity and offers a certain small richness as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of pulpy/ripe blackcurrant, black berries and more slightly juicy/ripe cherry associated with small hints of licorice, very fine wafts of sweet blond tobacco and a discreet touch of cardamom. On the palate, fruity, balanced, mineral, discreetly tight and offers an acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh black currant, blackberry and more lightly violet combined with hints of cherry/cherry as well as fine hints of minerality, discrete wafts of mocha and toasted almond. The tannins are massive and relatively polished.
