The nose is mineral, racy and offers some power and intensity. There are notes of crunchy wild blackcurrant, balsamic and more slightly strawberry combined with hints of violet, nutmeg and a discreet touch of clove. The palate is mineral, fruity, balanced, stretched out, discreetly tight and offers a nice freshness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, blackberry, crushed/concentrated fruit and more slightly raspberry combined with hints of racy minerality, flowers as well as fine hints of chocolate, toastiness and a fine touch of positive bitterness (in the background).
