The nose has a little spicy side and a certain little power from the grain. It expresses notes of wild blackcurrant, small wild berries and more slightly gray pepper associated with touches of clove, as well as hints of star anise, cornflower and spices. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, juiciness, tension, and accuracy, as well as a tangy structure, a fine varietal side in the background and energy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, pulpy/juicy blackberry and more lightly small crunchy red berries associated with touches of lilac/varietal, as well as fine hints of mocha/cardamom. The tannins are sapid and precise.
