Château La Fleur-Pétrus 2023 – Pomerol

Château La Fleur-Pétrus 2023 – Pomerol

The nose is nicely led, precise, frank and offers a nice complex side, depth. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more slightly – chocolate, associated with touches of pulpy blackcurrant, a hint of cherry blossom, racy minerality. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, pulpy and offers roundness, fat, softness with an airy character, all in accuracy and delicacy. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy purple plum and more slightly – chocolate, associated with touches of roasted raspberry, star anise, sweet blond tobacco and fine hints of chocolate and roasted almond. Good length, the tannins are soft, sapid and gourmet. A subtle hint almost of sap and iodine in the background. Nice balance, very nice softness and a nice chew.
