The nose is elegant and offers a beautiful ripe fruit, a small power, intensity, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of chocolate associated with touches of bright blueberry as well as hints of chocolate, flowers, caramelization and fine hints of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, elegant and offers minerality, silkiness, a beautiful finesse of the fat, a certain density, a small richness, tension and an acidulous/fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of small bright blue berries as well as hints of chocolate, cornflower, lilas, fine hints of mild tobacco, almond, hazelnut and a hint of sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are elegants. Good length. A persistence on notes of chocolate, caramelization and coffee (brings gourmandize and a very discreet chew). Tension on the finish/persistence.
